With us a one-page website costs 500 EUR, each further page 150 EUR, a shop 600 EUR, online booking 350 EUR, a dashboard for editing content yourself 400 EUR. A restaurant with a menu comes to 650 EUR, a practice with team, services and appointment booking to 1,150 EUR. All final prices including VAT, fixed before we start.
Why prices vary so much
Ask what a website costs and you get answers between 0 and 20,000 EUR. Both are true, for different things. A website builder appears to cost nothing, an agency in Mannheim bills by the day. In between lies what a business in Neustadt, Landau or Speyer really needs: a site that gets found, works on a phone, and is maintained by someone when the opening hours change.
The honest measure is scope, not trade. A hairdresser with a price list and online booking needs more than a farm shop with opening hours, a winery with a shop more than both. That is why we price in building blocks, and they are public on our website.
The building blocks and what they cost
All prices are final prices including VAT. A contact form, legal notice, privacy policy, mobile layout and the basic setup for Google are not building blocks, they are always included.
- Basic, one page: 500 EUR. Hero, text, images, map, contact. Enough for a café, farm shop or tradesperson without references.
- Each further page: 150 EUR. Menu, rooms, services, team, directions.
- Dashboard for editing yourself: 400 EUR once. Your own login, change texts, images, prices and menus yourself, no subscription.
- Shop: 600 EUR. Products, cart, payment.
- Booking or appointments: 350 EUR. Calendar, availability, confirmation e-mail.
- Findability in search engines and AI search: 300 EUR. Location pages, service pages, structured data.
- Additional language: plus 30 percent on the total.
- Hosting and maintenance: 30 EUR a month, cancel monthly, content changes included.
Three examples from the Palatinate
A restaurant in Sankt Martin with a menu: 500 plus 150, so 650 EUR. With a dashboard so the menu can be changed in summer without us, 1,050 EUR. A guesthouse with rooms, directions and booking: 500 plus 300 plus 350, so 1,150 EUR. A winery with wines, history and shop: 500 plus 300 plus 600, so 1,400 EUR. What builders and agencies really cost
A builder (Wix, Jimdo, Squarespace) costs 15 to 40 EUR a month, over five years 900 to 2,400 EUR, and the site is not yours at the end: switch providers and you start again. Add the evenings you put in yourself. The builder is cheap if you have the time and enjoy it, and expensive if you do not.
An agency bills day rates of 800 to 1,200 EUR and needs five to twenty days for a business website. For that you get a concept, a photo shoot, a copywriter and a team. Right for a company with twenty employees, too much for a farm shop.
What you should not pay for
For a domain that belongs to the provider. For "SEO packages" with no concrete pages behind them. For a maintenance flat rate where every change still costs extra. For templates a thousand others have too. And for a quote without a fixed price: if someone names the price only after the start, that is not a quote, it is a risk.
