Talk before we configure

How old is the child, what is allowed, what is not, and what matters to you as a family. You set the rules, we implement them.
Set up the family

Apple Family Sharing or Google Family Link: a child account linked to yours. Purchases need your approval, location is visible if you want it.
Times and content

Screen time per app, downtime at night and during school, age ratings for apps, films and web, filters against what is not age-appropriate. On console and TV too.
Explain, to both

The child knows what applies and why. You know where to loosen or tighten later without calling us.

How long it takes and what it costs

Usually one hour. If the phone itself is still new, its setup comes on top, then it is two. A second device such as the tablet takes another quarter of an hour.

What we do not do here

We do not secretly monitor children or read their messages. The child knows what we set up. Technology does not replace a conversation, it only makes it easier.

From what age does an own phone make sense?

That is your decision. Technically a phone can be set up from primary school age so it makes calls, shares location and does little else. More gets added step by step.

Can my child bypass the parental controls?

With Apple or Google family sharing only with difficulty, because the rules are tied to your account, not the device. We show you the typical loopholes and close them.

Does my child see what is set?

Yes, and that is a good thing. We set it up together so the rules feel like an agreement, not a trap.

What does parental controls setup cost?

Usually one hour, so 85 EUR. A single device with a few settings is a short visit for 50 EUR. If the phone is new, its setup comes on top. Call-out from 10 EUR.
