Wi-Fi and network Signal in every last corner.

One router in the hallway rarely covers a whole house. We measure where the signal drops, set up router, mesh or cabling and only leave once every room is covered.

How the appointment goes

  1. Measure

We walk through the home with a meter and see where the signal drops and which walls swallow it. Then we know whether mesh, a repeater or a cable is the answer.

  2. Router and connection

Fritzbox, Speedport or the provider device: enter credentials, update firmware, set Wi-Fi name and password, create a guest network. With fibre also the switch from the old DSL.

  3. Extend

Mesh stations in the right places, not just where a socket is free. Where possible a cable to the TV or desk, that always beats wireless.

  4. Connect devices and test

Phones, laptops, TVs, printers and smart home devices onto the new Wi-Fi. Finally a measurement in every room so you see it works everywhere.

Examples from our appointments

Fibre has arrived, nothing works

The provider installed the socket, the technician left. We connect the new router, carry over Wi-Fi name and password from the old one and reconnect all devices.

1.5 hours 135 EUR plus call-out

No signal upstairs

Router on the ground floor, home office under the roof. Measured, mesh with two stations placed, laptop and TV upstairs run reliably.

1.5 hours 135 EUR plus call-out

Internet keeps dropping

Troubleshooting instead of buying new: interference, outdated firmware, wrong channel, phone on the wrong port. We find the cause and fix it.

2 hours 170 EUR plus call-out

How long it takes and what it costs

From our appointments since June: one to two and a half hours, usually two. A router swap alone is done in an hour, a mesh across three floors needs the two.

What we do not do here

We do not run cables through walls or ceilings, that is a job for an electrician. We tell you exactly where a socket should go and connect everything afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my Wi-Fi so poor in the bedroom?

Usually two walls, a floor or underfloor heating are in between. The 5 GHz band is fast but short, the 2.4 GHz band reaches further. A mesh point halfway almost always solves it.

Repeater or mesh, which is better?

Mesh. A repeater halves the speed and has its own network name, a mesh hands your phone from station to station without you noticing.

I got fibre, do I need a new router?

Depends on the connection. Some providers install a fibre modem and your old Fritzbox keeps working behind it. We check this before you buy, the advice is free.

Do you also come if Telekom or Vodafone is the provider?

Yes, the provider does not matter. We set up whatever device is there, or recommend a better one if needed.

What does home Wi-Fi setup cost?

85 EUR per hour, a typical appointment with measuring and mesh is around 135 to 170 EUR, plus call-out from 10 EUR. Devices are extra, we advise independently.
